Hi all,
it's been a while since i have been on here. i have a question about our gastro babies in 2006 i had my first born Avariella at 35+6 weeks i went into labor naturally water didn't break til 10 cm. i'm now 34 1/2 weeks with my second and i'm feeling they exact same way i did the weeks before Avariella came. Contracting constantly i'm 1cm dialated and 50% effaced which is were i was at this stage in pregnancy with Ava. i always thought that she must have came early because of gastro but now i'm getting the feeling that maybe this is just how my body does things. My question is was your gastro baby early? Did u go into labor natrually? have you had children since? Did they come around the same time? I'm just really nervous and excited. Any answers would be great thank you all.

Well i ended up having another little girl Genavecia at 37+5(induced) due to issues with the pregnancy. She was born a very healthy 7lb 7oz and 20in. Man was it different getting to have her in the room. I did'nt let them take her anywhere not even once. We got to go home the day after we had her! I feel for anyone having to experience Gastroschisis the 2 births were completely oppisite. I still cry to this day thinking of the emotions and being so young and so scared when we had Avariella. Hope everyone is doing well!

Congratulations!
Sorry for the late reply,
My exompholos baby was born at exactly 36 weeks.A very easy birth .
My son was born healthy 23 months later at exactly 39 weeks. His birth was also relatively easy although it hurt alot more but then he was almost 9lbs compared to my daughters 4lbs 12 oz!
It is a wonderful feeling ,i remember being so happy when the midwife laid out Toby's little clothes to wear.We were also home later that afternoon (he was born at 12.50 am the exact same time as my daughter)
I hope your daughters are doing well,
